Being in the health and fitness related field for over 16 years, Jessica brings a diverse background and can combat any person or companies fitness goals, health challenges, or lifestyle obstacles! Being a Personal Trainer, Corporate Wellness leader in the Northern VA area, Pilates Instructor, and Fitness and Sports Nutrition Specialist, she can deliver all aspects of a person’s well-being.
She holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland at College Park and is certified as a Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Throughout the years, Jessica came to realize what an important role food makes in how you look, feel, and perform. She decided to learn more about how foods relate to one’s body composition and is now certified through the National Academy of Fitness and Sports Nutrition as a Fitness and Sports Nutrition Specialist.
During Jessica’s 16 years of personal training experience, she developed multiple training philosophies. This philosophy, Pilates, has turned into one of her passions because of the remarkable benefits she has seen her client’s obtain over the years. Certified through PowerHouse Pilates, Jessica has been incorporating pilates mat and reformer training into her clients’ workouts ever since!
Personally, Jessica loves watching football, Go EAGLES! In her spare time she enjoys running with her yellow lab, Reece! Teaching overall stability with functionality and incorporating it into her routines is what Jessica believes in the most. You will often find her in a Trader Joe’s scoping out the latest and greatest new food to add to her menu!
